Consider the Age
How old is your existing fire alarm system? If it’s over 15-years-old, it might be time to invest in a new system that has up-to-date technology. Or, perhaps, you might be able to update some components of the system to extend the life of your current system. If there have been changes in occupancy or use for the building you’re in, that, too, could mean it’s time to take a look at your fire alarm system and make some adjustments or changes. Basically, you want to be sure your system covers the entire building, and that it’s sufficiently monitored.
